I flew it again today 10/14/2007.  First take
off was bad.  I didn't hold enough up
elevator and it nosed over.  Second one
was good.  Still having a little bit of
problems keeping it straight but getting
better.  I did a few low passes, loops, and
rolls.  Flies great.  I also did a good landing,
and taxied back to the "pits".  Still need to
perfect my takeoff.  I still don't know if I am
taking it to the warbird fly-in or not.
Depends on if my takeoffs inprove.

Info on the first flight.
I started up the engine taxied to the end of
the runway and slowly advanced throttle.
not enough right rudder  and as soon as the
tail cam up it rotated about 45 degs.  Gently
pulled it up a few feet off the ground, let it
get flying speed and climbed out.  I made a
few circuits and all it needed was a little up
trim.  About three minutes into the flight I
held my breath and retracted the gear.
Flew it around just getting used to the
plane.  After about 6 minutes of flight time I
started getting ready to land.  Made a few
passes and flipped the gear switch.  I made
a pass to verify they were both down and
locked and I lowered the flaps. Came in
perfect for landing but didn't flare enough
and nosed over.  Great first flight and the
only damage was a chipped cowl.
